Last week it was time for a small trip again. We decided to go to Motovun in Istria, because we haven’t been in Istria before. Motovun is a village that lies on top of a hill. Motovun is famous for its food and international film festival. Unfortunately the truffle season is later this year, but we ate of course wild asparagus.
I made 2 panoramas from Motovun and its surroundings. Somehow I think panoramas always look cool. It is a great way to share the great views we had.
We have been in Pazin to see the amazing surroundings where Jules Verne got his inspiration from. Unfortunately it was raining, so we left quickly to the coast.
We went to Porec to buy fish. Porec is like the Lignano from Istria. If you like tourist crap like shitty t-shirts or useless souvenirs, then go here. But it is one of the cities near Motovun with a fish market, so we went there to buy some fish and scallops. A much nicer place on the coast is Novigrad. It is less polluted with tourist shops and still got the charm of a old little Croatian city.
Anyway, below in the gallery are some more pictures from Motovun. All photos made with my Fujifilm X100.
